A Tradition of Community Service and Leadership

In August of 1962 a group of business and civic leaders from the Sacramento Suburban Club of Kiwanis helped form the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael California. The club is located in the Sacramento, California metropolitan area. Our club is in Division 44 of the CAL NEV HA district of Kiwanis International

Founded in 1915 and headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, Kiwanis International is a thriving organization of service- and community-minded individuals who support children and young adults around the world.   More than 500,000 Kiwanis-family members in more than 80 countries make their mark by responding to the needs of their communities and pooling their resources to address worldwide issues.   Through these efforts, Kiwanis International truly is "Serving the Children of the World."

Club meetings traditionally are conducted once a week and offer an atmosphere of fun, learning, and fellowship. In addition to attending the meetings, the typical Kiwanian volunteers each month to assist with club service projects. The Cal Nev Ha Foundation provides grants to help clubs in the district fund their service projects

Our Club every meets Wednesday, 7:00 AM at the Elks Lodge at 5631 Cypress Avenue, Carmichael, CA

The Club began its tradition of leadership in community service from its inception, including the hands-on service and monetary donations to charitable organizations serving children, youth, the elderly, and the disabled. Funds are raised through various projects, including Pancake Breakfasts, Parking Lot sales, and our famous Crab Feed.
